Why do sparkling wines have so many bubbles?

There are various methods to provide 'normal' sparkling wines with their bubbles. For example, there is the méthode traditionnelle, where a second fermentation takes place in the bottle. With this method, the bubbles remain in the glass for a long time after pouring.
In the méthode cuve close, also called méthode charmat, the second fermentation takes place in a closed tank; only then is the wine put in the bottle. The bubbles are less pronounced than with the traditional method.
In the method of gasification, a fermented wine (which is called a 'still wine') is injected with carbon dioxide. The bubbles disappear quite quickly after pouring.

How is sparkling red wine made alcohol-free?

The production process of non-alcoholic sparkling red wines is almost the same as the production process of the variants with alcohol - only they are dealcoholized afterwards. It is not possible with every dealcoholization method to get all the alcohol out of the red wine, which is why, in addition to 0.0% sparkling red wines, also drinks with 0.1% or 0.5% alcohol are available.
